I'm very excited about this new album, The Very Best of Daya with John Adorney. In addition to being a collection of songs that Daya has recorded on my past albums (all are re-mastered and/or remixed), it also includes two of Daya's original songs and a song that we wrote and recorded together when she was 13-years-old. This album marks the first time that Daya

will be commercially releasing some of her own original music!

In this age of streaming, artists need to rely on the support of people who believe in the

project and want to see it come to fruition. Our label, EverSound, plays a major role in

releasing all of my albums, but because I release them so often, I try to do my part by covering

the production costs. I've been doing this since releasing The Wonder Well album in 2014, and since then, many people have told me that they enjoy being a part of  the process in

getting of these albums made. So, once again, I've put together a campaign for the album.

If you contribute toward the campaign, of course you'll receive something in return! Below you'll find the categories for contributing at the various levels. 

 

 Executive Producers & Major Contributors :  

 

If you'd like to contribute on either of these first two levels, I suggest you let me know as soon as you can. This is because your name will be printed in the album liner notes, and I wouldn't want you to miss the deadline for when I have to submit the artwork. (For these levels, there are no buttons to click - you simply email me, let me know how much you'd like to contribute, and we'll take it from there)​.

For a contribution of:

     

$500 or more - You are an Executive Producer of the CD! You'll be credited accordingly in the liner notes - plus you will be invited to a Zoom session with Daya and myself to discuss

the album or anything else music-related. And you'll receive all of the gifts listed below.

$250 or more - you will be listed in the CD liner notes under the heading "This CD was made possible by the generous contribution of . . . ." Also, you'll have exclusive access to a video in which I show how the album developed from start to finish, and you'll receive a signed copy of the CD and the mp3s.​ (Email me to arrange making your contribution.)
